Becoming Loose

March 12, 2018 by Tammy Wright in Creating, Journaling

The first quarter of 2018 is almost over and I've been hustling. I'm always busy at the beginning of the year with things like post holiday clean up, taxes, professional certification renewals and winter garden projects. I can't believe I've managed to find any time to do anything creative. But this year I've got a new project management system and it's working for me.

My journaling, gardening and artistic endeavors have come together into one notebook and I really like the way it's shaping up. There's more creative flow in my life and less rigidness.  I'm doing less, but accomplishing more. I can't explain it.

I think part of it has to do with maturity and spiritual growth. Letting go of what no longer works is one of those life lessons that has taken me a long time to learn.  And I'm finally at a point where I understand what it means to embrace my feminine, right brain self.

Very little is planned in my life right now. I just have an ongoing list of ideas I'd like to implement. If I lose interest, the ideas are tossed. If they pull me deeper into the rabbit hole, I fall freely.  Life is too short or at least that's my current perspective.

Turning Over A New Leaf In 2018

November 27, 2017 by Tammy Wright in Journaling, Creating, Monthly Update

It's been so long since I've posted on my blog, I'm almost ashamed to pick back up where I left off. Let's just say 2017 has been quite challenging. However, there have been many rewards. The challenges have formed me into a new and better person. I like it.

I'm taking what I learned this year and attempting to turn the lessons into something positive. As for PaperTams, my journey continues and I will work harder to keep up this blog along with my YouTube channel and social media platforms. It will take some discipline and organization, but I've got some ideas about how to get it all done.

October Journal Pages

November 01, 2016 by Tammy Wright in Journaling

My weekly journaling continues with the same format I've been using for almost two years. Daily highlights linked to my intentions are recorded on the left. And some sort of creative interpretation is entered on the right. This can be a collage, sketch, poem, or simply handwriting practice. Here's an updated page flip of my most recent entries.
